Environmental strategy game for PC
Angry Mother Earth is a premium strategy game for PC developed by Ice Quake Games. It is a nature-themed simulator about how Mother Nature has suffered from the mistreatment of humans. The Earth has now become enraged, seeking retribution and penance for all the wrongdoings done to it.
Similar to Reus or Black & White 2, Angry Mother Earth plays out like a god game that basically gives players mighty powers to do with as they please, only this time, it will be for more destructive and vengeful purposes, making it a one-of-a-kind strategy game.
Earth's wrath
In Angry Mother Earth, the planet has been suffering from the mistreatment of humans for far too long and has had enough. In a fit of rage, she now demands retribution in the form of humanity's utter destruction. You are tasked with helping her fulfill her wishes and take part in wiping out people from the face of the Earth.
The game takes place in a fully simulated world wherein you will unleash all kinds of destruction. Choose between Mother Earth, Father Earth, Gaia, or Midgard, each with unique powers that are complemented by expansive skill trees. With over 300 possible events, you can take all kinds of routes and approaches to bring about the results you want to achieve—peacefully or by force.
That said, the world is constantly changing and progressing, so humans can grow resilient to your tactics. Humans won’t go down without a fight. Stay ahead of the curb else risk the chance of being outpaced, and Earth being destroyed by pollution instead. You also have the choice to persuade humans to change their ways and start being green and sustainable.
Hell hath no fury
All in all, Angry Mother Earth is an interesting new game that captures the essence that makes god games so fun and engaging to play. There are multiple characters to choose from, giving you different ways to achieve your goals. With a dynamic world and multiple possible events, the experience will also be quite varied and unpredictable. Keep this on your radar.
